Isohexane for industrial use is made from topped oil by full hydrogenation, rectification for separation, and molecular sieve adsorption. The product is volatile and easily soluble in organic solvents, and has a faint odor. It is the main material for the production of cleaners for high-end car brake pads and other products.
The product adopts twice hydrogenation without aromatics or sulfur, has good solubility and stability, and causes no damage to the ozone layer; with a purity higher than 99%, it does not cause corrosion to metal, plastic, and other surfaces, and has high permeability, rapid volatilization, and no residue; as a solvent, it has good solvency, and neither toxicity nor public hazard.
